I've been having trouble finding a good Acai berries site to buy and learn more about their products .. also, is there any common stores that sell these products?

We buy them at Costco, but they are actually chocolate covered, and mixed with chocolate covered blueberries. Not sure it that will meet your needs...
I would try Trader Joe's, as they have lots of dried fruits, and also lots of unique things... seems like they might have them.
Do you have a local health food store? That would be another place I'd try (use Google Maps to search for "health food store near XXXXX" and enter your zip code in place of the Xs... you can do the same to find a Trader Joe's store.
If you would rather purchase them online, first type "www.froogle.com" into your browser, which will take you to Google's product search. From there, type "Acai berries" into the search box (or "dried Acai berries" or whatever more descriptive form you feel would be helpful). It should give you a bunch of results where you can compare online retailers, and make a purchase online.
Good luck!

You don't say whether you want them for weight loss or not but that is the current craze.
ReplyDeleteThis whole acai berry thing is a scam.
Acai berries are high in antioxidants.
A diet high in antioxidant foods can increase your metabolism.
An increase in metabolism can burn more calories.
More calories burned can result in weight loss.
Acai berries cause weight loss!
That is the big "stretch" these con artists are selling.
Acai berries don't have any more antioxidants in them than regular blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries. At 10 times the price because they are "exotic".
The "cleanse" that usually come with them contain nothing more than psyllium husk powder to help you poop more. There is no such thing as a "fat burner ".
Burning more calories than you consume is the only fat burner.
None of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program.
So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?
You are spending somewhere between $ 2 and $ 4 per day on products that are not approved or guaranteed to do anything!
The same "stretch of the imagination" applies to the green tea, maquiberry, hoodia, moyoberry, gojiberry, fruta planta, and african mango seed extract pills out there.
That kind of money pays for a great gym membership.
The only weight loss supplement I recommend is a basic multivitamin.
A healthy diet high in both soluble and insoluble fiber is the only safe way there is.
I am a health teacher that has been taking an excellent acai supplement for over 3 years now. I can tell you that not all acai products are created equal, and if you are going to spend the money on a supplement that you want to get the most benefit from, than you want one that is not over-priced, over processed, and has done its best to retain the natural attributes of the acai berry.
ReplyDeleteI take Perfect Acai, and that decision was done after much research on other people's products and prices. I tried other brands, and nothing came close. I trust this company, and I can tell you first hand that the results have been amazing. Acai is meant to be taken for one's health, and this supplement has a lot to offer in that area. I know I'm getting an enormous amount of antioxidant benefit, my energy levels are strong, my skin tone was improved, and my nails are long for the first time! Even minor joint pain has dissipated, and I'm very satisfied with the results. I'm including a link to where you can purchase it if you want, and this site will also give you a discount coupon code for any of their products. Good Luck!
