You can try the scarsdale medical diet.
I've been on it for a week now, and i lost 7 pounds; I also did it when I was 17, and lost 19pounds in 14 days.
The diet consists in programmed menus, that You should stick to, in order to lose weight; when you finish your 14 days, you eat normally (but sugar, flour based products, pasta are still banned) for 14 days, to try and maintain the weight loss.
Then if you have more weight to lose, you go back to 14 more days of diet with the menus; the principle is basically 14 days on/14 days off, so you lose weight, and learn how to keep trim afterwards.
So in 7 weeks, if you don't cheat, you could lose up to 30-33 pounds maybe? really depends on how much you already weight, and what kind of metabolism you have...
If you are interested, here is the link , where you will find everything you need, menus and alternatives:

  1. Believe me when I say that if you do the Atkins diet for 7 weeks you will lose about 40 pounds. The first two weeks is the hardest but you can do it. Eat meat only for 2 days. Then you can add a small salad the each day after that. Eat lots of meat.... bacon, steak, hamburgers.... just throw away the bun. No ketchup, tomatoes, sugar, peas, carrots or bananas. Lots of water! Lots of water!.... No sugar.... No carbs... after the 2nd week, you can add berries... strawberries, blueberries. Only butter...no margarine.... 1 slice of bread a day...You can snack on prok skins and sour cream. You can use sugar substitute... You can use heavy whipped cream for your coffee or tea.

  2. Drink plenty of water. Adequate water is essential for health, and a great many people simply don't get enough. What's more, if you're chronically dehydrated, your body will retain water in unflattering places, so if you make sure to get plenty of fluids you can start visibly trimming down in as little as a day. Remember, the more you exercise, the more water you'll need. See the related wikiHow for more details on how much water you should be getting.
