I have been taking pills for acai berry and I also drink juices made from acai berries. Recently I have heard it said that because of the area that acai berries grow, they might be bad for you and cause cancer. Is there any truth at all to this?

No, it's not true. As a matter of fact, because acai berries are high in anti-oxidants, they may protect you from cancer. Just keep in mind that acai berries DON'T help you lose weight.

My understanding is that acai berries are safe - even if they're exposed to any pollution or carcinogens based on their growing location, these chemicals are likely filtered out when the berries are processed into juice and dried supplements.
ReplyDeletePlus, the naturally high levels of anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals found in the berries are actually much more likely to help you prevent cancer!
I was concerned also about the safety of Acai Berry and did alot of research. I was very surprised to find that there are no side effects and it is very healthy for you. The only caution you should have before buying is to make sure you buy Pure Acai.
