What to know if this is an Acai Berry Scam?

Question by druicy32: What to know if this is an Acai Berry Scam?
Has anyone heard of the brand Genesis Today? They sell an Acai Berry 100% Juice at Whole foods. I just want to make sure this is a good brand and not one of the million scam companies out there. It was pretty affordable and the juice looks real (really pulpy and think- dark purple)

What brand isn't a scam. The locals where Acai berry is harvested think it's quite humorous that Acai Berry has become so popular in America as a health supplement. The health benefits are not what they are claimed to be.

  1. I would suggest to read the label and see what is actually in there.

In the media, Acai Berry pronounced (a-sigh-ee) has been getting a significant amount of attention. Acai Berry is native to Brazil found in the Amazon. Brazilians throughout history have used the acai berry to deal with skin and digestive diseases.

Acai studies have shown to contain significant levels of antioxidants. Most people hear antioxidants and associate it with being healthy but know nothing about an antioxidant. Antioxidants simply reduce damaging forms of oxygen called free radicals which can attack cells in our body and may contribute to diseases and aging. Use of antioxidants in studies, have had promising results in different diseases. Furthermore, the acai berry has been shown to contain many essential fatty acids such as linoleic acid. Linoleic acid aids in healthy hair and wound healing.

Acai Berry has also been marketed as a weight loss treatment. It is not a magic pill to weight loss but the benefit of Acai Berry is it may calibrate the body which helps the metabolism run more efficiently, the person feels better, and helps in reducing weight.

The University of Florida did a study which was published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry regarding acai berry and the study showed that acai extract destroyed leukemic cells. The acai berry extract killed from 35 to 86% of the leukemic cells. Be careful though acai berry is not an approved treatment or prevention of leukemia. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding the Acai Berry but the initial studies are very promising.

My team and I decided to test a sample of different Acai Berry products and we performed a blind study where it was hidden from the subjects which Acai Berry products were being administered during the one month duration. It would serve to diminish as much bias as possible.

We experimented with several products and found only three to be worthwhile with Pure Acai Berry being the winner. The results of our study are available here on our website at http://drblogonline.com/acai-berry-products-reviewed/

  2. Don't fall for it. Acai juice products are full of sugar and are nutritionally diluted.

However, you have made a good choice by looking into acai. Let me tell you what I recommend, and then I'll tell you why...

I recommend you get a free trial of Extreme Acai from the source link below. This is the product I use, and honestly I feel better every day. If you don't like it, just don't reorder it... but you'll like it.

Now let me tell you why I recommend Extreme Acai over all other acai supplements...

I have heard that there are some side effects with some of the other acai supplements. Those that are specifically meant to 'cleanse' can sometimes make you visit the bathroom more often than usual, and some people reported some abdominal discomfort such as cramping and bloating. If you stick with Extreme Acai you will be able to avoid all this.

Acai berries have far more antioxidants than any other fruit. Even more than blueberries! Besides that, the nutrients in acai berry supplements help many other diseases and maladies, from diabetes to arthritis to blood clotting. It really is a worthwhile supplement to add to your daily nutrition.

Acai can also be a great weight loss aid. The berry’s natural concoction of essential fatty acids, fiber, phytosterols and amino acids work together to help your body burn fat more efficiently, process food more quickly and shed the unwanted pounds that you’d like to lose.

Acai has great anti-aging benefits, will cleanse and detoxify you, and has destroyed cancer cells in recent studies. You really can't go wrong by adding an acai supplement to your daily vitamin regimen. So far it's working for me by helping my digestion, curbing my appetite, and by giving me more energy each day... I don't even get sleepy around 3pm anymore.

Again, I would avoid any 'cleansing' type or juice type supplements, even if they are acai-based. Just stick with a regular 100% acai supplement in capsule form like Extreme Acai to avoid the lower standard products.

Despite what the previous poster wrote, Extreme Acai is actually the top rated acai supplement on the market right now. I used to talk about Pure Acai, but Extreme Acai is just better. Try the free trial at the link below.

I have not heard of Genesis Today and I don't want to get into a 'pissing match' over whose acai product is better. The bottom line is that the acai berry has been shown to be the highest antioxidant fruit in the world. That is, if you can eat it right off the tree. Living anywhere but in Brazil, this is impossible. The next best thing is to find a company who has a patent-pending process of freeze drying the fruit to lock in and stabilize its nutritious benefits. The only company who has done this is Mona Vie. Do your own research and you will find the same thing.
