There are a ton of vitamins & nutrition online stores and I can easily see how that can be confusing... In regards to acai berries, it is essentially the anthocyanin content in the berries that is the active ingredient. It is basically 10 to 30 times more than what is found in a comparable volume of wine. The anthocyanin can help with anti-cancer activity, anti-aging, fresher skin, and much more. In regards to weight loss the essential fatty acids in acai berries impact the metabolic activities of the body. All-in-all there is a ton of research out there on acai berries and how useful they can be as a part of a diet program. Best of luck to you!

after reading that they contain fat binding products so basically any fat you eat will go straight through you giving you major diarrhea i've opted NOT to try the actual weight loss pills.

This whole acai berry thing is a scam.
Acai berries are high in antioxidants.
A diet high in antioxidant foods can help increase your metabolism.
An increase in metabolism can burn more calories.
More calories burned can result in weight loss.
Acai berries cause weight loss!
That is the "stretch" these con artists are selling.
Acai berries don't have any more antioxidants in them than blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries. At 10 times the price because they are "exotic".
The cleanse pills that usually come with them contain nothing more than psyllium husk powder to help you poop more. There is no such thing as a fat burner. Burning more calories than you consume is the only fat burner. None of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program. So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?

Hello Everyone. I am researching Acai Berry. It is a natural super food found in the rain forests of Brazil that helps lose weight, boosts metabolism, gives energy, increases libido and a great deal of other things. I have read NOTHING BUT POSITIVE things about Acai but they say when something seems too good to be true, then it probably is. So, I want to know if any of you have tried Acai Berry and what are the advantages and disadvantages of using it?

I've never tried it but just today, I heard a co-worker fussing out some ppl on the phone over her acai berry order. apparently they charged her twice when it was supposed to be a free tiral and she said she took the pills for a week with no noticebale positive or negative changes in her mood, body, etc

Most of the time they do have to be ordered online, I have not been able to find any in stores. I do order them online often, I have tried Acai Flush, ACai Extreme and I recently brought a product called PureAcaiBerry.

I am happy with the results that I have seen from them so far :), On average I have been losing around 1-2lbs a week. I would probably lose more if I exercise but im a little lazy :)

I would recommend that you stay away from free trials, they do tend to be a scam and simply rebill you every single month.

Forget acai berry for weight loss as there is no proof in it...it is a scam or hype at best. Adopt a calorie restricted diet and combine that with at least 30 minutes of exercise a day such as brisk walking or cycling or other activity that you might like to do at the gym or at home. And definitely stay away from Internet purchases of acai berry as there are apparently fraudulent scams online relating to acai berry. Two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before meals might could also be taken as part of a calorie-restricted diet and exercise.
